Age UK Herefordshire and Worcestershire is excited to announce their Dance A-Thon, a family-friendly fundraising event taking place on Thursday 1st August. This vibrant event encourages participants of all ages to come together at Worcestershire County Cricket Club for a day of dance, fun, and community spirit, all in support of a vital cause.

The charity is inviting everyone to dance their way to making a positive impact as they raise funds to help people live well with dementia, live independently for longer, stay socially & physically active and to get the support and advice they need to live better.

The Dance-A-Thon will feature four different dance styles, ensuring there is something for everyone to enjoy and can provide seated options for those who require it. Whether you are a seasoned dancer or just looking to try something new, this event promises to be a memorable experience for the whole family.

The fundraising lead at Age UK Herefordshire & Worcestershire is thrilled about the upcoming event, stating, “We are passionate about celebrating positive ageing and have planned this intergenerational event to bring together our clients and the wider community.”

“This event, scheduled for the summer holidays, will not only be a day of joy and companionship, but it also provides an opportunity for us to raise much-needed funds to continue our local support services. It's a chance for all generations of the family to support and appreciate the value of living well at every age.”
